Mission

Our mission is to provide accessible, confidential, and comprehensive gynecological and reproductive healthcare, including sexual health services and education. We provide quality healthcare and services regardless of a client’s insured status, economic circumstances or immigration status. We actively include those who experience unique barriers to healthcare access including mono-lingual Spanish speakers, youth, racial/ethnic/cultural communities and people with disabilities.

Every Woman Counts (Cancer Detection Program)

Every Woman Counts (EWC) provides free breast and cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services to California’s underserved populations. The mission of EWC is to save lives by preventing and reducing the devastating effects of cancer for Californians through public and provider education, early detection, diagnosis, case management, and integrated preventive services. EWC is part of the Department of Health Care Services’ Cancer Detection and Treatment Branch (CDTB).

Services Offered through Every Woman Counts
  • Breast Exams

  • Mammograms

  • Diagnostic Breast Imaging

  • Breast Cancer Treatment

  • Pap Smears

  • Cervical Cancer Treatment

Eligibility for Breast Cancer Screening
  • 40 years old or older

  • Low income – (EWC Income Criteria)
  • Limited insurance

  • Not receiving these services through Medi-Cal or another government-sponsored program

  • Live in California

Eligibility for Cervical Cancer Prevention
  • 21 years old or older

  • Low income – (EWC Income Criteria)
  • Limited insurance

  • Not receiving these services through Medi-Cal or another government-sponsored program

  • Live in California

Family Pact (FPact)

The Office of Family Planning (OFP) is charged by the California Legislature “to make available to citizens of the State who are of childbearing age comprehensive medical knowledge, assistance, and services relating to the planning of families”.  The purpose of family planning is to provide women and men a means by which they can decide for themselves the number, timing, and spacing of their children.

Services Offered through Family Pact
  • Birth Control Services including FDA approved forms of contraception and emergency contraception

  • Pregnancy Testing with Counseling

  • Preconception Counseling

  • Sterilization
  • Limited Infertility Services

  • Sexually Transmitted Infection Testing and Treatment

  • Pap Smears

  • HIV Screenings

Eligibility
  • You must be a California resident

  • Your income for your family size must be at or below 200% of the Federal Income Guidelines

  • The client must have no other source of health care coverage for family planning services

  • You must have a medical necessity for family planning services

  • Age 12-55

  • Persons under 18 are eligible to receive services without parental consent
